RRAAACCCCCIIIINNNGGG!!!!!!

So the build this day was very hectic. Probably because it actually took 2 days.

We began working on the car at about 1pm, but didn’t really get anything productive until 8pm. It was one of those days where we kept on running into problems. Starting by the wrong parts, tools, lights, etc. For example, we spent a whole bunch of time looking for a pilot bearing puller, went to every store possible EXCEPT harbor freight (because they were closed) and tried buying or renting the proper tool. We found it at Autozone only to realize that it didn’t fit. CRAP! So, went to harbor freight the next day, and BAM! there it was. Freaking ridonkulus! hahaha.

Anyways, it was a PITA, but enough of that. We managed to get the tranny in with 3 people, jack stands, and a BFH in certain parts where there were clearance issues. But as the pictures show, ITS INNN!!!!!!!!!

Only left is to fabricate a transmission mount, get a new shifter (because OF COURSE the old one is not compatible with the new tranny), connect hoses to master clutch slave cylinder, fill with oil, and drive. Until then, Keeping up with the Kardashians is on TV haha
